I have a 5 1/2 week old kitten, with his litter of 4 others and the mother. They are all very healthy and still nursing and just starting to eat kitten food. This week he has had very severe constipation. About 4 days ago he was impacted (?) and it was clear he had not defecated in several days and he kept trying to, but was crying while nothing happened. We looked at him and he was trying to go, so we pressed (very gently!) on the sides of his anus to help it come out. There was quite a bit and it was very hard. Since then he has been eating and playing well. Now today he was unable to go again (and apparently hasn't for a day or two) and crying while trying to...

i have a cat that is 15 years old. One day he seemed to turn ill and we took him to his vet and he believes ha has severe feline asthma. After treating him for about 4 months he does not seem to be getting better. The xrays were sent out to be looked at and you can see the "doughnuts" but his exrays of his lungs are just getting more white. A second opinion just from looking at the xrays... possibly pneumonia also. My vet has not brought that up but i read that they are easily confused with one another. He has lost weight and also become weaker and wants to move around but has a hard time breathing. he never has a "good day". sometimes open mouth...

Great Dane exposure to TOXIC-BLACK-MOLD...
Posted on 2009/06/09 by McKenzieHi! My 5 year old Great Dane & I recently moved into a new home (lived in home approx. 3 weeks). I have a good amout of reason to believe we may have moved into a home that has a camoflaged mold problem, and worse yet possibly the toxic-black-mold! I recently started experiencing symptoms characteristic of exposure to toxic-black mold, and for the past couple of days I've been asking Em-dog what's wrong with him because he just hasn't seemed like the normal Emmerson. After coming to suspect a mold problem I now look back over things that may have occurred involving Emmry that didn't seem to have an underlying cause-I've become very concerned that what I didn't...

sick bearded dragon?
Posted on 2009/06/20 by UserI have a 7month old bearded dragon and recently i noticed he is not haveing bowel movements every day like normal and his last bowl movement was more green than black and is runny. The other thing i also noticed is his toes were twitching, but i have only seen this happen once. i know these are all signs of MBD (calcium deficiency)so i am really concerned, but i dont have $50 and then some to take him to the vet right away.Is there anything i could for him that will help untill i can take him to the vet?

sick yorkie
Posted on 2009/06/21 by User7 yr old yorkie is not feeling well at all. He just had an enima from the vet because he had trouble making bowel movements. Now he is shaky all the time, does not want to be held, and we noticed his tongue is colder than usual. Is this something we should worry about or is it just normal recovery symtoms?
