What's wrong with my puppy? Help
Posted on 2009/02/20 by UserMy male puppy is 5 months old and has had 2 of 3 immunizations; I rescued him from a shelter 2 months ago. He is a chihuahua/dutchsound mix. He recently was neutured and inserted with an identification micro chip. Prior to that, he had tape worms and was treated for them. He currently is on a medication taken once a month to prevent fleas. It has been 2 weeks since he was neutured, treated for tape worms, and given his monthly flea medicine. Over the past 24 hours he is extremely fatigued, sleeping, shaking/shivering (as if he is cold or has a fever), and has very tiny white things all over his body. Dog's Constipation
Posted on 2009/02/21 by UserHi. My dog is about 14 yrs old and I think she may be constipated. She was recently checked at a vet for another issue and they said she is in excellent health and was surprised how good she was doing for her age. In the past 2 days, she has been drinking alot of water, but eating very little. She normally jumps at treats, but she hasn't wanted any. She pees alot, and has pooped just a little, but acts like she needs to go again or throwup, but can't. She is very lethargic and mopy. We normally give her a munchy bone every night when we eat as a treat. Could this be causing her to have constipation, and if so, is there anything we could give her?

In the last 2 days he has only had about a dozen droppings and has hardly touched his food or carrots. Please help me. In the past year we've lost 2 beloved dogs, and I'm not sure I could handle loosing the rabbit I consider my little baby boy, even if he's not such a baby anymore, right before I go in for surgery. Please help me!
