Help, My dog isnt well, and I need advice, THANK YOU
Posted on 2008/09/05 by UserHello, my German sheppards hasnt been eating the way he should be the last week, and he is having problems going to the bathroom, as in solids. He looks like he is in discomfort, and is starting to walk funny. his stool is small, and I think there might be worms, I actually saw a worm in his stool, but I am not sure if it was there or a visitor later. It looks like he has been digging alot lately outside, I wonder if he ate something from the ground, and now its playing havoc with him. I love my dog, he is 8 and my buddy, but he isnt doing well, and I am divorced and cant afford to take care of him if this is serious, its really killing me to watch him just get more miser ...

lameness
Posted on 2008/09/01 by teresa hewittPepper jumped off of our bed about about a week ago.He sounded like he landed a little hard. He was okay the first couple of days except he wouldnt jump on the bed or anything. Then he suddenly stopped walking. He would only drag himself aroun. We carried him to the vet. They did spinal hip and skull xrays, Everything came back normal. They also did bloodwork which was normal. They really have no explanation for what is wrong. They sent him home on prednisone. They said he may walk in a few days or it could be weeks. They just dont know, He does'nt seem to be in any pain and he is very alert. He also eats really well. I have noticed since he has been home he ha ...

5 week old puppy help!!!
Posted on 2008/08/30 by Userwe found some lab puppies about 5 weeks old in an ad online, they did not have a mother around and the men who took care of them were always working. we took one and he seems to be doing fine, although i am worried about him being away from his mother so long. yesterday he pooped 2-3 times(we just got him yesterday) today he is on a regular 4 times a day feeding schedule of puppy chow softened with puppy formula. today he only pooped once and it was a very little bit. I am worried that he could be sick, also when can we get him shots?
