recent trouble
Posted on 2008/10/08 by michellechoco was laying on the floor it appears as though he fell. he looked like he was having a siezure though had dry mouth. he was wiggling alot, i calmed him down by laying next to him on the bed petting him. after the next few which had time between of about 20 min of the same symptoms after witnessing what seems to be uncontrollable muscle spasm like you would see in a siezure there were groans from abdominal area right before hand right before the last two i tend to notice there was a stomach rumble that happened, in which made me believe he wasnt having siezures but it seemed like he was just in extreme pain which made him do the "fish" i walked him outside...

My dog has been intermittently listless and disinterested with clear drainage from the nose. Other times she is barking, running around chasing the cats and playing. She eats everything I feed her and has no toileting issues. Should I be worried? I have read about canine distemper and I'm afraid that she has it. I don't have alot of money for doctors or tests. Cuddles is a 5.5lb pomapoo and my best friend! Please help me

I have 2 female rats that will be a year old in February. They are the first rats i have owned so i am still learning about them. One of them started sneezing a few months ago and does it often now but her appearance or behavior hasn't changed a bit. My other rat makes a funny noise every so often when she breaths that is hard to describe but also acts normally and doesn't appear to be sick. Is this something i should worry about? I don't have much money to pay for vet bills but will if necessary because i have become quite a rat lover. Thank you- Josh

Yesterday, I reluctantly had my dog nuetered. I brought him in at 8:30 am and went to pick him up at 5:30pm that afternoon. When they brought him out, he was still somewhat out of it. I even questioned whether he knew me or not. He had been through a lot and I just assumed he would snap out of it later in the night That he just needed more time to recover. The tech, at the last minute of me ready to take him, looked concerned and checked his gums for color then wanted the dr to check him one last time to be sure he was ok before I left. Well, he did and found he was bleeding internally as his gums were white. He told me thank god that the tech noticed this as he...
