I have a chihuahua and since saturday she seems to be in pain. She cries when you go to pick her up. Her body seizes up. She had a seizure without the convultions. She seems afraid to be picked up. She won't eat. I took her into the vet yesturday, they did an x-ray and blood work it all came out fine, but she is still not responding well. Got any ideas?

Bathroom Yelping
Posted on 2008/02/13 by UserHI. I have a springer spaniel border collie cross who is 14mo's old. He is an outside dog. 6 days ago when I got home from work I noticed he had been bleeding from the back end. He won't let us lift his tail and he is very tender by his tailbone. He tries to bite us if we lift his tail. There seems to be no evidence of getting hit or anything. He seems real sheepish towards us now too. Anytime he tries to go to the bathroom he cries and yelps. Any advice or suggestions on what this could be? His appetite is fine. He's not the same dog anymore, not sure what happened. He used to be excited when he'd see us but now he just wants to lay around. Thanks, Cheryl

I can't sleep!
Posted on 2008/02/20 by DaynaI'm sure this is a common problem. My cat, Butters starts meowing/clawing at the bedroom door at around 3AM and refuses to stop. I live in a tiny one bedroom apartment so there's nowhere else I can put him when he starts to act up. I've tried letting him in when he meows, but then he just attacks my feet. I've tried spraying him with water every time but now he is just trained to run away when the door opens. (Then goes right back when the door closes.) I've also tried those soft claws (the clawing keeps me awake more then meowing) but he just rips them off after a day. I just don't know what to do anymore. Please help!

Neuro changes in cat
Posted on 2008/02/21 by JoanneWondering if you can help me with my 8yo. neutered male cat. Last night I heard him crying and when I went to see what was wrong, he was trying to walk but was stumbleing all over the place. His head was also moving back and forth from left to right. He did know me but seemed to be a little disoriented at the same time. He also lost control of his bowels which I spotted later on the rug. He did this about 4 or 5 months ago but I thought he may have eaten something outside and was having a reaction. Now I don't think so since he wasn't outside yesterday except for about 20 minutes in the morning. Any ideas? Thanks, Joanne Carr

Aggressive behavior around human intimacy
Posted on 2008/03/01 by TrinaMy dog starts growling and jumps in the middle of displays of human intimacy such as kissing. He hasn't always done this, and I'm wondering what causes it and how to stop it.
