My 3 year old Lab mix is exhibiting aggressive behavior towards dogs he's known for a while. It is very rare and has no warnings what so ever. The first attack back in May (2009) killed our Chihuahua. We got him neutered hoping it was a male dominance thing but he has done it again just this week towards my sister's Jack Russell. I looked into medical conditions but none of them fit. He also doesn't act aggressive towards humans. Please help my mom and step dad are trying to force me to euthanize him.

Abnormal Cat Behavior
Posted on 2009/08/11 by CourtneyMy boyfriend's cat freaked out on him last night. She clawed and bit his arm. She's usually a very sweet cat so it was very weird. She's a calico and is barely a year old. What to cause this abnormal behavior?

New litter of kittens in trouble
Posted on 2009/08/12 by UserMy daughter's cat is about two years old and just had her first littler. She is in a large closet upstairs where she can be left alone. My problem is that she keeps trying to move her kittens. She is trying to shove their heads under the door into the hallway. Is there any thing I can do to stop her from wanting to move them? Also when she gets in the mood to move them she stops feeding them. Is there any way I can help with the feedings?

My 4 year old cat has biten for the first...
Posted on 2009/08/12 by UserI have 2 fixed 4 year old cats and recently brought home a puppy about 3 weeks ago. The cats have been accepting of the new pup as much as to be expected with some minor hissing and hitting, nothing major. Tonight one of my cats got outside (they are both normally indoor and only outdoor rarely). The cat jumped off our 12FT patio and ran away, we found him under a neighbours tree. When we went to get him, he attacked my boyfriend and bite him. This is completely out of character as usually this cat is afraid of his own shadow. We tried luring with treats, shaking the tree to scare him out but he is still there groweling and frightening. As if he has no idea who we are! We...

Emergency question about my fiest puppy
Posted on 2009/08/13 by UserMy 6 week old puppy is breathing very heavily and will not eat or drink anything. He can hardly hold his self up and leans his head to the right. He is very shaky and whiney sometimes, as if he has sharp pains. His gums also look white. What could this be?

aggressive cat
Posted on 2009/08/14 by Usermy cat, which is a stray female of indeterminate age, has started fighting its own tail. It does it very often each day. Basically, it sees its tail while its sitting down, bites it aggresively, gets hurt, then gets angry and goes for broke on its tail. How can I stop this behaviour?

Golden Retriever acting strange
Posted on 2009/08/19 by UserMy 1 year old female golden retriever has just started attacking my other 2 smaller male dogs. She normally plays with them but has now started grabbing them by the neck and shaking them viciously. She has also started lying in the full sun even though its very hot when she normally lies in the shade. Why has she started acting this way?
