On Monday when he woke up I carried him outside so he could do his business, only this time when I put him on the floor he fell on his side and seemed like he was stretching because his legs were stretched out,I didn't know what was happening so I picked him up and he urinated and defecated on himself, I kept calling his name but he didn't respond and then his head started twitching, after this he was fine and fell asleep. Then, I woke him up to go see the vet and he started walking on small circles and fell on his side again, I picked him up quickly and his head was all the way down like he...

  • I have a 19 year old cat. He is anemic as well as underweight. Due to his age, I am not going to do a lot of expensive treatments, ie: IV fluids to flush his kidneys and lower is BUN. Right now he will eat regular canned tuna, but not moist cat food. He will try something once, then turn his nose up at it after that. What can I feed him, that is moist and that will give him the nutrients he needs?

Our shih tzu had pneumonia and finished clavamox 125mg bid. she was also given baytril 68 mg in which i gave her 3 doses and stopped because she was starting to shake and thought it might be causing her problems. she finished clavaox 5 days ago and then started slightly weezing again so i gave her 1 baytril two days ago and then the next day she was very lethargic. she is moving better but we had an appt scheduled with the vet today. results from cbc showed bun levels at 142. the dog seemed to be doing better when she was taking the clavaox. would another round help to reduce the bun or is something else needed
