GI stasis bunny advice
Posted on 2009/07/14 by UserBun visited emergency vet Sunday evening. Symptoms included indications of pain, no eating, drinking (that I saw), or pooing. No exact diagnosis was given but bun is now taking a mediation for g.i. mobility and one for gas relief (phazyme) and I've been force feeding her baby food (approx 2.5 teaspoons every 8 hours). Her condition has improved. She will now eat timothy hay, small quantities of fresh herbs and carrot shreds, is drinking some water and pooing a moderate quantity of small, hard poos. my rabbits acting weird !
Posted on 2009/07/09 by katerinaMy rabbit is 5 years old. She's always been very happy and healthy. But, this morning she started acting weird. Her head was shaking back and forth as well as her eyes. It seems as if she cannot control it. There is discharge coming out of her eyes, and she feels very warm. She seems very tired and as if her head and every thing else is leaning more toward the right side ( it looks like shes depending more on her right side). She was walking slanted too. It also seems as if shes not hungry or thirsty. I have no idea what's wrong, we bring her for routinely check ups and everything! Please help! Thankyou, Catherine.

Rabbits ears
Posted on 2009/07/06 by UserOne of her ears has a dry patch on the outer layer which seems to be peeling away with the fur attached, though there is not any blood or puss, the layer of ear underneath is dry and looks healthy as though she is shedding her outer layer?? Do you think this maybe an infection?

My rabbit has been diagnosed with EC,but only shows symptoms in his eye.at first it was only a white circle, but now there has been a noticable change.3 wks ago he finished a 4 wk course of panacur,is it too soon to put him on it again. He has also lost weight, although is happy, and eating well, and no other apparent symptoms.
