We had bought two bunnies from a pet store about 2 months ago. We were told that both were girls and we looked as well and thought. The past couple of weeks we had to seperate them due to one trying to always hump the other. Today the one bunny passed a blob that could of been an embryo, but not sure. Is she pregnant and how can we tell without hurting the kits? We don't even know how old they are because the pet shop didn't know either they just said a couple of months old.

Poorly bunny
Posted on 2009/08/12 by UserHi, I've recently brought two bunnys which are sisters and 10 weeks old. One is very healthy but the other seems very poorly. When we got her home she seemed very skinny you can easy feel her bones and she doesn't move much and sits in the corners. Even when she's out in the run she'll hop for a bit then just sit there for ages. She had a small bite of carrot because my sister didn't know they couldn't eat them at this age. She now has had diarrhea and her fur under belly is also stuck together from the feces. i've been clearing the feces from her belly with rodent wipes but her fur is still stuck together. I don't know what I can do to help my bunny?

Please help my rabbit
Posted on 2009/07/29 by Usermy rabbit is 8 years old which i understand is old for a rabbit. He is a lop earred rabbit and has lived indoors all of his life. When he was around 4/5 he had his teeth removed and has lived off carrot and potato baby food. Recently, although he seems fine in himself he constantly gets food caught on his fur under his mouth, we have tried to wash it off but it hasn't worked. However today i noticed the fur had been pulled away from the skin leaving a considerable bald patch under his mouth and a flab of fur underneath. I don't know what to do about it? what do you suggest?

New rabbits!
Posted on 2009/07/25 by UserI have two 8 week old mini lion lop rabbits. Only got them 2 days ago - they have a clear jelly like substance that appears to be coming from their willy. It is making them quite messy as sawdust is sticking to it. I have cleaned their hutch of sawdust and cleaned them but it keeps coming! Do you know what it might be? Thanks Nina.
