  • Paper eating in rabbits

  • Rabbit bitten on leg

    6 yr old rabbit bitten in leg. No idea what animal bit the rabbit. I assume rabies is possible. I have small children. Is the best thing to do is put the rabbit down?

  • breeding;

    HI~ I have a female rabbit. I plan on breeding her to get some extra $$ (and for the joy ;) How old do they have to be to breed & how can you tell thier age(s)?? ALSO, how old should I wean the babies (when she has them), and are they like Guinea Pigs, do they have all males, or all females? I know it's alot of Q's, but I need to know. THANKS!!

  • a loose dog got in my rabbit shed and knocked the cage over and chased my rabbit firday. i found him by neighbors garage. he cant move hind legs. he was eating and drinking. do you think his back is injured? the pic is how he has been sitting since last nite. hes peeing on hisself or i have to help him.

  • Slight wheezing

    I adopted a young male rabbit (fixed) about a month ago. I noticed a few days ago he has been breathing more heavily than I had noticed previously and has barely noticeable wheeze. (I probably wouldn't have noticed it at all had he not started wheezing while lying across my lap.) Actually wheeze is really not the best word; it's more like a very faint panting (but of course he's a nose breather so coming from his nose). He has been eating his pellets, hay and greens and drinking normally. His droppings are normal as is his urine. He doesn't seem particularly lethargic and still comes out to run around the room when his pen is left open. Advice?

  • Bunny sneezing ?

    My bunny is sneezing and his nose is really wet and now I can hear him when he breathes and i can tell he's having trouble - kinda like when you have a stuffy nose. I made an appt to the vet for tomorrow but i just want to make sure he'll be ok for tonight.
