• hamsters eye is swollen

  my hamster has a swollen eye that is drying up he can't close his lid i have tryed wetting it and he has justr started a course of anti biotics called BAYTRIL 2.5% and he is having BIO - LAPIS in his drinking water. what is happening to him?

  We just brought home a female long haired hamster a few days ago. I picked her up last night night and she had pasty white, what I can assume to be pee. Is this natural or is there something wrong?

• Bald hamster, with red scabs on him.

  I put my syrian hamster into a bigger cage when he was 1. 1 month later, he lost his fur, and now has red, irritated scabs over it's body, yet he isn't scratching. Also, he isn't eating much but drinking loads. Is this down to age, stress or disease?

  Pepsi has recently started sitting mid-way in his tunnel staring at blank space.It lasts between 6-8 minutes sometimes longer in a frozen state.He has also recently developed a lump on the right side of his jaw towards the nose...What can be wrong..??

  Pepsi has recently started sitting midway in his tunnel staring at blank space.It lasts between 6-8 minutes in a frozen state.He has a balanced diet of dried foods,nuts and fresh vedgtables.What is wrong..??

  my son's 2 month old hamster has been very active recently, even about this afternoon. However this evening I found him pushing himself around the sawdust od his cage on his tummy. Although alive, he is limp when picked up and now in a ball outside of his house. Any ideas or should I put him bac into his house to stay warm. Thanks

• My Hamster has a lump!

  Hi, our Hamster has 2 lumps on his front leg, they are red and squiggy to touch. I've taken him to our Vet and she didn't know what it was, she prescribed antibiotics but they've done nothing to help him. He now has a lump in his ear which has been bleeding. He is fully active, eating and drinking as normal. Could you help with a diagnosis and treatment for me to go to my Vet with?
