Old hamster
Posted on 2009/03/12 by UserHi, I have a syrian hamster, he's about 1 1/2 or 2 years and recently he has been drinking a lot more than usual and his urine smells much stronger, even when I have just cleaned him out. He also has a couple of little patches where it looks like he is losing hair. Just wondered if this is old age or something else?

Hamster - skin problems
Posted on 2009/03/04 by UserMy hamster has a pink patch of skin under his chin, and on his chest. I cannot tell if it is an area that is dry or itchy. It has been there for months. Nothing has really changed in appearance. What can I do about this, and should I go see a vet?
