My hamster of 4 months has been bleeding from her bottom quite badly. She has something sticking out of it (about 2cm long) but I can't see what it is as it has blood and bedding stuck to it. She is very poorly in herself. She has stopped bleeding now but is very poorly and I have been trying to feed her as much water as possible.

Hamster Won't Pee
Posted on 2009/06/14 by UserHi. My pet female hamster (syrian) doesn't seem to be urinating and eats very little. She is very shaky. When I handle her she tries to get away. She has been sleeping a lot lately and has light brown poop that is quite soft. Any suggestions about what to do for her would be greatly appreciated.

Have I left it too late
Posted on 2009/05/26 by Usermy daughter, who has behavioural difficulties, sprayed her hamster Emma with perfume just over a week ago. Emma seemed fine but the last 3 days she hasn't been eating or drinking, rarely comes out of her bedhouse, has sticky eyes and is unsteady on her feet. Is it too late for anything to be done?

Hamster with diabetes?
Posted on 2009/05/26 by UserMy hamster it appears is suffering from diabetes. He is peeing and drinking a lot and often has energy crashes. He will sometimes just sit in a corner shaking. We also found an abrasion on his tail. He is a syrian hamster. Any advice?
