  Hi, I need urgent advice.My hamster,one and a half year old syrian female,is sick.For a past 3 days her eyes are sticky,and there is pus slightly red coloured,blood alike.One of her eyes is bigger then normal.She is not eating much,drinking less then usual.I`m very worried because she`s looks weak and sleeping most of the time.I`m wondering what is the reason of this sickness and how can i help her fighting this infection.Little bit about everyday routine may be helpfull.So first of all i`m using safe wood shaving according to producent,but i noticed there was a structual change in my last pack of shaving (it was difficult,at least more then ever,to separate them from...

  i went to clean out my hamster cage and i thought that my hammy had a bit of poop stuck to her bum when i looked closer it looks as though it is part of an organ hanging out of her bum is she dying this is the first hammy i have had please help

  My 15 month old Golden syrian female hamster passed a small amount of blood from her vagina last night could you please give me an idea of what might be wrong and what action to take? Since last night she has not passed any blood and the private area appears clean.

• My hamster wont move

  My syrain hamster (male) is only around 7 months old and is curled up in the corner of his cage very awkwardly and will not move. He is barely breathing and his eyes are slightly open. He is lying in a very strange position. He's never been a friendly hamster and doesn't like being around humans much. He usually makes odd sneezing sounds but right now he is just very silent and very still, but yet he is so young?

  I found my hamster, Harry in his cage dead still last night. We can not tell if he is breathing but he is stiff and smells. He is warm. Is he alright?

• Hamster mouth infection?

  I just recently got two hamsters, both male. One of them had what looked like an infection in the left corner of his mouth. I have been keeping an eye on it to see if it gets worse, but now the other hamster has developed the same thing on the left corner of his mouth. It doesn't seem to be affecting their eating or playing but I'm just a little concerned... Any help would be much appreciated!
