Sugar has just started to have watery eyes. One was crusted over today and had to be opened by wiping away the crust. I'm not sure what to do. i thought maybe she is allergic to something in her pin so we removed her and put her into a cage with just towels in it. I haven't checked on her yet because I am at work. Is there anything that might be causing this? I think she is acting fine overall but I am a little worried. Her eyes are just watery and her eyelids might be a little swollen but not a lot.

Guinea Pig with soft poo
Posted on 2009/01/02 by UserMy 2.5 year old guinea pig has started having soft poops. She's had a case of this before, but it cleared up on it's own. This time, it's going a bitt longer. The poop is not runny, just very soft (still formed, but very soft). She is eating normally, running around normally, drinking water normally- no change other than this. Her diet has been steady since day one: mixture of dry guniea pig food containing corn, seeds, etc; plenty of available western timothy hay, and vitamin-c drops in her water. She gets a piece of carrot in the morning, and in the evening, and every so often she gets a small, cherry tomato.
