we've had a ferret that we just bought, its our first time owning one so its kind of new, anyways the ferret seems to get along just fine with my girlfriend but when it comes to me, well not so much. My girlfriend puts him on the bed sometimes with us and he always bites me! even when hes on the floor it could be me and my girlfriend both on the floor but he always attacks me. i wanted to know why is he scared of me because im bigger or is it because im a male and he is to that he wantes to play rough? and what can i do to him to show him not to bite me?

My ferret is sneezing he keeps sneezing 3 or 4 times in a row but he still eats and his poop isnt any different than normal hes just not as hyper as usual we named him tweak for a reason but he just isnt same old tweak hes sleepin more than usual he also has a spot that he is biting and itching i just dont see any visible bumps or cuts and i just dont know what to do

Ferret has black spot on head
Posted on 2009/02/02 by UserMy ferret has a black spot on his head, to me, it looked like a scab at first, I waited about 2 weeks, but it hasn't gone away, I've even tried bathing him, to see if it would come off, but it hasn't. He's about 5 1/2 years old. Any idea on what it could be? It's really small, and doesn't seem like a lump. Just wondering what it could be.

I recently adopted two young female cats (8-9 months old) from an animal shelter, and attempted introducing them to my two ferrets (male and female, 4 years old). I gave them a few weeks of interacting through the ferrets' cage bars before trying to introduce them to each other, and my female ferret was very happy to play with them; however, my male ferret tries to attack them every time they're together. I didn't know if there was anything I could do to try to make him more comfortable around the cats. It would just make my life a lot easier if I didn't have to shut the cats away every time I let the...
