i have a male boxer he is two years old. he is walked for half an hour in the morning and around a hour at night. is that enough? he does not want to get up first thing in the morning and at night when i send him to bed, he also misses meals sometimes breakfast and sometimes both. should he be this tired all the time?

My 8 yr old golden tore his acl 2 months ago...again. Now his foot is colder than the rest of him and his bones feel diff in that leg and of course the muscles feel atrophied. Is all this normal?

Have a dog "Jay" sometimes he looks likes he is having some sort of spasms in his legs. He scrapes his paws on the floor quite rapidly, like a cartoon character about to race. When this happens he also flits around the room as if shot up the backside with a "what was that" look on his face. Any ideas??? It looks like mini electric shocks going through him??? He also from time to time suffers with his right ear only, pic enclosed. It tends to redden and he shakes his head alot and scratches it this keeps repeating from time to time.

Posted on 2008/12/21 by Usermy dog is constantly licking his left rear lower leg. he is sensitive and protective of this area so it is difficult to get a good luck through his hair. i did put some hydrogen peroxide on this area and it fuzzed so perhaps a non-visible cut/bite etc under his hair

I HAVE A RAT TERRER 3YR OLD. SOMETIMES SHE WILL SHIVER EVERY 3 SEC. BE IT AT NIGHT IN MY BED OR JUST SITTING NEXT TO ME ON THE COUCH. OTHER TIMES SHE IS FINE. (SHE IS NOT COLD) THANK YOU . ARTY32133@YAHOO.COM

no puppies
Posted on 2008/12/21 by brandyabout a month ago we thought our dog was pregnant she was getting a little fatter and she had boobs she starting laying around makeing a bed not eating very much she did this for about 3 weeks and then she got up started acting normal and her boobs went away and there was never any puppies so what happened

mouth sores
Posted on 2008/12/21 by UserMy 15 mo. old chihuahua has something wrong with the left side of her mouth and now it is starting on the right side also. It almost looks burned. It is getting worse and since late August her vet has treated her with antibiotics, then with anti-fungal meds and on the 10th of Dec he gave her an injection of ivermectin & wants her back for another on the 23rd. He scraped her mouth & checked the scraping for mites but didn't find any. Only once in a while does she scratch it. I'm really getting worried and they seem to be guessing. I can email pictures if I can get the email address. Do you have any ideas? Thank you. Ann
