• Advice on lump on dog's face (2nd opinion needed)

  My 4 year old dog has a small pinkish bump under her chin (< 1/2" round, photo attached), showed up about a month ago. During her annual check-up her vet eye-balled it and said he'd have his assistant contact me with a quote to surgically remove it. The quote came in at $1200!!! I was floored, still am. She was spayed and had laser removal of dew claw as a pup...much more invasive, for just $200 (at a different vet). I asked for a secondary quote for needle biopsy, which came in at $250...with a caution that it was 50/50 odds on whether sample would actually tell them anything. I'm taking her to another vet for a second opinion, those fees seem extreme to me....

  my 10 year old German Shepherd appears to have blood spotting out of his penis, i cannot see any splits in the outer skin to cause this and he doesnt seem to be in any discomfort? any ideas welomed please Nick

  My dog ate rat poison and i took him to the vet and i was given vitamin K. I noticed his stool was the same bright blue green and the poison block. Is he going to be fine with just the vitamen K. He doesnt look sick he's running and barking but im still worried.

  my 2yr old bitch Allie has always got on really well with my 2 cats and my rabbit. she has always been slightly hyperactive no matter how long I walk her for. I had her spayed a couple of months back and suddenly she has became excessivly wanting of my affection and is starting to leap all over when i go to pet one of the others. she's not being vicious at all, just very jumpy and licky.

  My dog has been vomiting for 24 hours, roughly every 3 hours. He´s never been sick over this period of time before, could it be anything serious?

• Dog - help!!!

  Our dog ate a soft treat but didn't chew it so he was choking. I put my finger down his throat to push it thru and it did go down so he can breathe but now he is throwing up white foam. Is this ok or does he need to see a vet?

• Eye

  Killian my 8 month old German Shepherd got hit in the right eye with a baseball that was (traveling about 70mph) 4 days ago, the eye has a slight cloudy gray look around the outside of the eye but not the pupil its self. what dose this mean?? There is a small laceration about 1/4inch below the eye that looks to healing normally. His behavior and diet is about as normal as can be expected, he dose seem to be more lethargic then before but I assumed because of the stress and pain it's self.

• Vomiting and lathargic

  Hi, I have a 8 year old German Shephard - he has been vomiting and is very slow and lathargic - normally he is a guard dog (alert and fast) - he is also not accepting any food - i have read that it is best not to feed a dog for 24 hours - is this correct?

• 4 week old chihuahua puppy

  my friend has 4 week old chihuahua mix puppies and the mother wont care for them anymore...im getting one of them in 2 days. i researched how to care for a normal 6 week old puppy...but i have no clue what to do now...how do i care for this puppy????please help!

  Thank you Karen Stacy for the reply to the response to "dog not sleeping".I took bobby to my vet he said that fluids have filled in his stomach due to kidny failure.And his organs are enlarged. What's the cause?
