I gave my dog a bath last week because she was stinky. The smell came back the next day. I have cleaned her with wipes for the past few days because I thought that she may have poop on her and the smell returns after a few hours. She hasn't had any gland problems. What could this be?

Has always exhibited infrequent vomiting and/or diarrhea, and scratching. After her 1 year birthday, the scratching became more pronounced and hair loss in clumps and allergies were suspected. A skin test shows Bailey allergic to several environmental factors and food was also suspect. The vet changed her from her regular diet of Wellness Puppy to IAMS Kangaroo & Oats which she stayed on for 12 weeks. Liver cancer in my Golden retriever
Posted on 2009/01/04 by UserMy dog was just diagnosed with liver cancer. Golden Retriever age 12. His liver enzymes # was 2,000. I can't bear to see him in pain. It came over him so fast. He has no appetite. Has lost 10 lbs. Does not socialize. How do I know how near "the end." he is at? What do I look for to see how much pain he is in? When do i "put him down."

Separation Anxiety?
Posted on 2009/01/03 by MorganI believe that my dog Zeus has issues with separation anxiety. He is an American Pitbull Terrier and is 7 months old now. Any time we leave the house he barks. I obviously don't know exactly how long this behavior continues, but he also pounces on the door and whines a lot. He also can't be outside by himself without jumping at the door and barking. Once you go out he's fine. He doesn't really pay that much attention to you once you're out with him, it's just like he wants you to be out there with him. He used to have to be attached to my hip everywhere I went. I couldn't get up and walk 2 feet without him following me. That seems to have gotten better, and he is...

I just recently found out that my 13 yr old dog has anemia. I cant get my vet to truly tell me how bad it is. How deadly is this and should I continue with the treatment or should I go ahead and have her put to sleep?

Chihuahua Red eye
Posted on 2009/01/02 by UserI noticed today my 2 month old Chihuahua has a red blotch uder her eyelid, at the top of her eye. She's not touching it, and it doesnt seem to bother her. It almost looks like a blood vessel burst. Is this serious? Should i rush her to the vet? What can i do to make it better?
