My cat has a really large bump on his neck. It's seriously the size of a golf ball and is on his left side on the bottom of his neck. I just noticed it today and I don't remember it being there yesterday. Is it serious or can I wait until tomorrow to have it checked out?

Posted on 2008/12/21 by Usersince this morning, my cat has thrown up twice and is doing nothing but sleeping. i think she got into my sweets last night and ate too many. what would the symptoms be if she did eat too much sugar, and what should i do if this is the case. p.s. she has kittens if that means anything

After spending hours reading on this site I think my kitten may have the flu.He was adopted from the Human Society ,he is the only cat in our house and has been home for almost 2 weeks,and on the paper work states he has had the following:feline rhinotracheitis,calici-panleukopenia vaccine,pyran and advantage vaccine.Are any of these the ones that protect against flu,could it be something else he has?Also he is scheduled to go to the vets December 29 for more of his shots,since he is only 6 months.Is there anything I can do in terms of food(I heard code oils and certain can wet foods can help),or anything I can physically do..(I've tried keeping him in the bathroom as I...

lump on my cats upper front arm
Posted on 2008/12/21 by UserWhile giving my cat some attention i noticed a lump the size of a grape on his upper front leg , near his chest. The mass, is semi hard(like muscle tissue) but has a soft core. Can cats get breast cancer? if not what else could it be?

Posted on 2008/12/20 by UserHi there, My cat has had a real problem going to the toilet outside. Now that winter is here we've brought her inside and bought a litter tray for her to go in. I have caught her on several occasions trying to poo on the floor. I have managed to get her in time and put her in the tray. She cries in pain when she is lifted by the tummy and i have a feeling she is suffering from constipation. What can i do? She is driving me crazy!

concerned about kitty
Posted on 2008/12/19 by Usermy cat's stomach feels hard and she doesn't want to eat her food. she has only defecated once since her box was hanged last week. could this be a hairball or irregularity?
