little kitten
Posted on 2008/06/02 by UserI have a 3 mo. kitten that something happened to him yesterday.I thought it was over heating cause I found him in my back yard in the sun. I cooled him down with a wet wash cloth. He is shaking very bad. Its like his nervous system has gone hay wire. He made it through the night and he responds to me when I call his name and when I hold him he purrs. He has drank some water and tried to eat. He has no diarrhea, and his bowel movements are pretty normal. All he does is shake badly. How can I help him.

Pink bump on kittens belly
Posted on 2008/05/29 by UserWe have a 6 week old kitten and about a week ago I noticed a bump in the middle of it's belly. It was small at first but has grown some. It is pink and soft. We are worried that she might be sick. She acts like a normal kitten though. No awkward symptoms that we have noticed. Can you tell me what it might be and what we should do for it?

My cat throws up at night about 2-3 AM. He does not throw up food or solids like water. It's like he has a stomach acke. When I first got him the vet said he had a little bacteria in his stool maybe it came back. I give him about 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of baby food chicken in the morning but this AM I did not give it to him. I'm worried about him. Thank you for your help. Nicki

Vaginal Infection
Posted on 2008/05/14 by MelissaOur cat had 4 kittens almost 7 weeks ago and the smallest I notice doesn't have a tail and it's back legs do not function like they should. She just drags them behind her most the time. Right away we noticed she had puss and yellow fluid coming from her vagina. It seemed to be getting better but recently it is a lot worse. Just a moment ago I picked her up and noticed her vagina is REALLY swollen and I pressed on her belly and infection ran out of her vagina. We can't afford to take her to the vet. What other options do we have in treating her? Would clinic take her and treat her for free or keep her? I am so worried

Can't Won't Eat
Posted on 2008/05/09 by HildaMy 13 year old cat had surgery last week to have some growths removed from her ears. Her ears are fine now but she has been back to the vet and emergency hospital several times because she isn't eating (she did not have this issue prior to the surgery). She is obviously hungry (she begs for her treats) but she either won't eat or won't keep the food in her mouth. It appears that she is having trouble smelling the food. Could this inability to smell be a result of the surgery, the anesthesia (she had gas, not a tube in her mouth), or Clavamox (she vomited after one dose so we stopped it)? Have you ever seen anything like this? I'm desperate to help my cat and get...

Cat has stinky breath
Posted on 2008/05/03 by NancyMy cat has stinky breath, like dead meat stinky. What could be the possible causes? He also wheezes a lot like he is hacking up a furball. I don't know if the wheezing is related to the breath.
