Cat w/ third eyelid showing
Posted on 2008/11/15 by Usermy 4 mo. old kitten has had his 3rd eyelid showing for about 4-5 weeks. He's frequently licking his bottom but I see no worms nor any in his stool. He has had a few loose stools with a little vomit as well. He's also much thinner than his sister. Now my other cats have their 3rd eyelid showing, upset tummies and sneezing. Vet at the animal shelter said nothing is wrong but my gut feeling is otherwise.

Skin Rash with Black Bumps/Scabs
Posted on 2008/09/14 by ChristinaMy 1.5 year old golden retriever, Max, has a rash on his underside belly that extends down to his hind legs. There are red/pink areas that look like he's been itching. On his hind quarters there are some areas of black bumps that have the feeling of scabs. I put him on Sargeant's SENRYPRO XFC (which had scary reviews of pet seizures...and I promptly washed it off of him with dishwashing soap) and put the regular K-9 Advantix I usually bought on him about 5 days later. He has never had a skin problem and has always been in good health. I don't know what to do and need some guidance. I've attached a picture (hopefully it helps) and have more that I could send. Posted on 2008/09/21 by aphreditiea loose dog got in my rabbit shed and knocked the cage over and chased my rabbit firday. i found him by neighbors garage. he cant move hind legs. he was eating and drinking. do you think his back is injured? the pic is how he has been sitting since last nite. hes peeing on hisself or i have to help him.

Excessive licking
Posted on 2008/03/29 by SuzieI have a 1.5 year old Maltese named Tiger. He constantly licks and licks the air (looks as if he just ate peanut butter, but he didn't) and sometimes his paws or us. Is this OK? I don't want to take my dog to the vet for "licking air" but it's so excessive I am starting to worry. Another worry is that he has a "goose honk" cough. It always happens after he drinks water but I was told that it is normal. But now he does it when he's not drinking water.
