my puppy is 5 weeks old and i think she was taken away too early. ive given her goats milk and she has the runs really bad. shes also making this horrible hacking noise, like she coughing up a hairball. whats the problem??

pink polyp on lip
Posted on 2009/01/14 by UserMy dog has a small pink polyp on his lip. It doesn't seem to bother him but I was wondering what it may be. It is almost like a large skin tag with a thin "neck" and a round top...like a mushroom. He is a small chihuahua mix.

Help....My piggy ate 1/2 a pothos leaf
Posted on 2008/10/14 by CindieMy Guinea pig ate about 1/2 of a pothos leaf. She is eating OK and even though I havent heard her drink she is urinating. She is however favoring her belly as in not wanting to lay on it. I called the vet and he said to keep her eating and drinking and to keep my fingers crossed. Is there anything else I can do?

dDog wont move,not her normal self.
Posted on 2008/10/14 by UserI cant figure it out, she is always smiling (yes she smiles) and happy but a week ago on a walk she just stopped walking and her legs SHOOK real bad. Had to drive her back home. Now she wont walk,smile, eat,drink or anything. All she does is lay there and vomit once in awhile. Its like someone switched dogs on me. We thought id was joint treat/meds a friend gave us cause we thought her bad leg was the cause, but we stopped givin em to her and shes still like a lump.Anyones help would be much appr. Thank you for your time.

Allergic Reaction?
Posted on 2008/10/14 by AmandaMy boyfriend and I recently adopted a 2 year old pit bull terrier mix from our local humane society (3 days ago), and he seems to be scratching more than normal since we've brought him home. This morning I also noticed that he was licking / chewing on his right rear foot and when I looked between the pads on his foot, the skin was red and irritated. Is his scratching / licking a symptom of an allergic reaction, or is his skin just dry and we can remedy it with a moisturizing shampoo?

Behavior Issue
Posted on 2008/10/16 by AmandaI have two dogs, Bailey and Prince. Bailey is a Doberman Pinscher and Prince is an Australian Shepherd/ Great Pyrenees mix. Recently Bailey has become some what of a bully. She picks on Prince and tends to pick fights. Prince usually just ignores her, but recently has bit her to make her stop. I was wondering if there is anything I could do to prevent them from fighting aside from putting one up for adoption. I made the commitment to have both dogs and am willing to work as hard as I can to make things better. Also, Prince has out of the blue developed a fear of men . He growls and cowers but has no reason to because they haven't had any traumatic events that I am aware...

Posted on 2008/10/16 by UserI have a Chiuahua and the guys normally upbeat and friendly but the past two days hes kept to himself havnt seen him eat or drink water usual will beg for food while im eating and he wont do that he feels warm but his pads n nose are cold the nose is also wet seems to breath normal even his facial expression looks Sad he also seems to Keep licking his butt constantly i noticed when first started looking sick he threw up an lil and had a slight case of diahrea which seems to have stopped Should i be worried??

Posted on 2009/01/13 by Usermy kitten is 12 weeks old. she has been sneezing, and now this morning both of her eyes were like conjuntivitis in the corners at the nose. what kind of medication would she be on. My older cat is on amoxicillan 30 mg. would it hurt the kitten if I gave her a drop of it?
