  • Behavioral Question.

My kitten sucks the fat between his hind legs whe he is about to go to sleep, as if he was nurseing. I was just wondering if this is normal, or if he was taken away from his mother to early.

  • My dog peed on my pillow today! My husband and I have spend the whole day indoors cuddling on the couch with our 2 dogs. They are both a little over a year and both housebroken. We had no real problems with our Lab Mix; he picked up on the ritual pretty quick and learned the sign if he needed to go 'potty'. On the other hand, it took us a lot of work to housebreak our Husky. He never picked up on the sign for 'potty' and he never ever had any signs if he needed to go. Now, when he hit a year in April, it seemed our patience and hard work were finally paying off. He was able to hold it longer and we are down to walking them 3 to 4 times per day. Both are doing great. We...

  • abnormal behavior

Hello, The last two days my dogs behavior has been abnormal(out of character). At night he has been changing his positioning on the bed constantly and always waits for me to take him out for walk etc. unless he really needs to go he will let me know in an obvious manner, and as soon as we are outside he goes.I mention this because he has now been doing this every couple hours, but nothing when we go outside, and where he stays on bed all morn. until I take him out , this morn. he was laying by the front door and laid by the door again this afternoon which he never does. (he has a cushion bed which is the only place he lays during the day, never on floor except in summer...

  • My friend's cat

I have a friend who's wife recently died a couple of month's ago. Their one cat, a "weegie" was very attached to her. Since then he insists on pooping around the house rather than in the litter box. What can he do to get the cat to starting going in the litter box again. The cat "Ollie" is about 6 years old so he knows better.

  • AH!

Recently, my dog started to "freak out". When I go to put her into her kennel, she gives me a wierd look. Then, when I go to close the door to the kennel, she jumps toward the door while growling, barking, and what seems as if she is trying to bite me. My questions are: 1). What could have caused this, 2). How could I stop this, 3). Do you think she would attack me, and 4). What should I do if she does attack me

  • Urinating in house

My dog is a rat terrior, two years old and house broken. A few months ago, he started hiking his leg all over the house, even when he just went outside. We then decided to crate train him and the urinating stopped. Now, its starting all over again. He has even hiked his leg and peed on people! Please help me help him. I have taken him to the vet just to make sure its not a medical issue and he is healthy with no problems. I think its just behavioral but I don't know how to stop it. I'v tried treats after he goes outside and hasn't worked. Help!
