My border collie barks insanely at most men. Sure, he's a skiddish breed, but his personality is so sweet when it's just our family. Is there any way to calm him down around new people?

Random biting from well behaved and submissive whippet
Posted on 2008/04/02 by UserSorry this question is a bit long. Here are the details about our dog: -age 3 male whippet -we've had him since he was 2 years old -former owners got divorced and decided to give him up for adoption -very well trained, obedient, kind -submissive if tested (ie we can put him on his back, take his food, etc) -is not free fed -gets lots of exercise -sleeps on the floor in another room Here is our current issue: -About 2 months ago, our dog was lying on a chair at my parent's house relaxing and my 8 year old cousin went over to pet him. He snapped at her and left a small cut on her cheek. No one saw if she had been bugging him or not so everyone said it wasn't...

Licking other dogs genitals
Posted on 2008/04/14 by UserHi, I have a 2 1/2 year old male labrador who is very friendly and loves meeting other dogs but he seems to always greet them by LICKING their genitals. This has caused a couple of dogs to go for him recently which is obviously very worrying. So I was wondering if this way of greeting dogs was normal and friendly and whether it was him or the other dogs causing these attacks? If this isn't normal then is there anything I can do to stop it? Thanks

Prince has been trained since he was a puppy and I never had any problems with him peeing in the house, but about a month ago it started to where when I get up in the morning he has peed all over his pee pads that I leave down at night, and not only have those soaked, but he has wet his bed and several different spots on the floor of the room where he stays. He seems to do ok during the day when I am home, but only when I am gone for 5 or 6 hours at a time and at night. I would like to know what might be causing his bladder problem and if there is anything I can do for him?

Posted on 2008/05/06 by TanyaHello, I raise Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. I have currently received an email from a family that purchased one of my pups last summer. Its a boy (who was my favorite out of the litter!) They are having trouble w/ his temperment he constantly barks and growls and is very scared of other people. He was 14 weeks old when they got him and he wasn't like this at all he was very attached to me. They take him places all the time and is constantly around other people. He does well with his owners. Please email me @ tanyasamuelson@bresnan.net Thanks Tanya

stress and traumatic experiance
Posted on 2008/05/25 by Usersomething happened when I was out and now my cat is terrified of everything. He will not walk on the carpet so he sits in the kitchen and cries all day long. He is very jumpy anything and everything makes him jump out of his skin. We are in the process of moving and I just want to know if I should be really worried and is there anything I can do to bring him out of this funk? thank you
