I have a 5 yr old male neutered cat and three spayed female cats. I adpoted all of the cats from a shelter when they were kittens and they have been indoors since. The male cat acts like he's in heat. Which is medically impossible as he is neutered. He cries constantly. It is more like a howling- a long, loud cry. It is a severe issue. It's like having a newborn that cries every three hours. I used to attribute it to living in a 600 sq ft apartment (it was small for four cats). I took him out on a harness and that only escalated the behavior. Now, we are in a house three times that size for close to a year and his behavior hasn't changed. I've had him checked-...

GSD Puppy Won't Leave 2 y/o Bichon Alone
Posted on 2008/12/03 by UserI have a 2.5 year old bichon, and recently brought home a 4 month old german shepherd. The GSD puppy constantly bothers the older dog, and will not stop even when she growls and shows her teeth. It's to the point she can't even walk through the house without the GSD puppy aggravating her constantly. How can I get the puppy to lay off and stop this constant, ridiculous behavior?

Hi, my cat who is 6 years old has a very bad temper. The only person he won't try to bit, give dirty looks to or scratch is my husband. We've had him since he was kitten and he used to be so nice. But, up until 2 years ago he hates the world. I need help.

Nervous of wind when windows and doors open
Posted on 2009/03/23 by TinaJust within the last six months or so everytime we open our front door and windows Ebony starts to freak out. She will bark and pace back and forth and will then just go out into the back yard and stay there. There are times when she will stay out there and only come in to get some water. Once she sees the windows are still open she goes back out. Ebony is almost ten years old and we have always done this. Why would she just now start to act like this?

Dog bathroom habbit? Or should I be concerned?
Posted on 2009/05/09 by UserThis is far from urgent, as this has a thing my dog has done his whole life, but I am finally curious enough to ask (and maybe really bored for a friday night as well). My dog walks around while he is going number 2. He gets in the dog squat, goes a little, moves around while squating, and goes more. He moves around I would say four times while going. I know dogs spread their pee around to mark territory, and dogs kick grass when they finish to cover up their poop. I know that this is done because they are naturally pack animals, and they do this to cover their scent. I am wondering if his moving while pooping is some how related? Of course if it sounds like a symptom to...
