Cat Panting and Vomitting
Posted on 2008/09/23 by JasonThis morning I found my feline crouched over a pool of white/yellow foam that she had just vomitted. She was panting and her eyes were dilated. She had come from the litter box and looked as if she may have lost control of bowels because there was solid stool on the floor trailing to where she stopped to vomit. Worried I rushed her to the animal hospital. By the time she got there the panting had ceased and she looked to be fine. The vet has run blood work and x rays. In the x rays he said the pulmonary arteries were enlarged and this looked to be a case of heartworm disease. (blood work will come back tomorrow) She is very overwieght (21lbs) and has not been...

WHEN I BROUGHT HER IN SHE ACTUALLY LOOKED DRUNK SLAMMED INTO WALLS AND TRIED TO HIDE COULD NOT GET HER TO STAND OR SIT STILL SHE WAS SHAKING,, I THOUGHT MAYBE SHE MIGHT OF GOTTEN INTO SOME MEDICINE FOR THIS TYPE OF REACTION... My dog needs help now?
Posted on 2008/09/23 by DonnaI took my dog to a new doctor on Saturday because Molly's doctor could'nt see her until Monday. When I got there they did an exam and then gave her a shot and some cream for her eyes, then I took her back on Monday because she was not any better and looking not so good. They again checked her out then he called another doctor in cause he did'nt know what was wrong, they decided to give me two medications and to still use the cream. Now I am taking her back again first thing tomorrow because she is now hurting, crying, her eyes are shut her third eye lids are hanging and red, she is swollen around the one eye, and everytime she so much as grazes by something she yipes. My dog is sick
Posted on 2008/09/23 by UserI have a 2.5 yr old Cavalier King Charles. On Wed. of last week he had his teeth cleaned and a fatty tumor removed. On Friday we went to the vet due to an upset stomach, he wasn't eating or drinking. All he wanted to do was eat grass. He had very loose stools and blood in his stools. He didn't have a fever. The vet thought maybe the upset tummy was due to the pain med. He finished those on Sunday. She prescribed an antibiotic twice daily, as well as Forti-Flora once in the evening and gave us a can of Hill's a/d to entice him to eat. He was doing okay but this evening he's vomiting, wants to go out and eat grass and won't eat or drink again. I'm at my wits end...

My dog had radiation for cancer on his muzzle about 3 years ago. I have noticed recently that his gums look red and sometimes they bleed when I'm brushing his teeth. Nothing around the house has changed, so it's not a new toy or his diet. Any suggests?
