Difficulty walking
Posted on 2008/12/30 by UserMy Mastiff is having trouble walking. It seems that he has little strength or coordination in his hind legs. Xrays have not shown any back or leg problems. It seems to have started approximately 4 months ago when he was at the kennel and was put on Metronidazole for Giardia prophylaxis.

Blood in urine
Posted on 2008/12/30 by StaceyMy cat was fully blocked and was hospitalized for 5 days. He had a cathether, sub Q fluids and x-rays. He didn't have kidney stones but did have crystals. He has an antibotic, Clavamox, and a new diet UR St/Ox. I have noticed that his urine sometimes is all bloody and other times is yellow with a small drop of blood. How long will that last? He is using the litter box normally, however has peed a few places around my house. Should I be worried?

Eye boogies and lots of them
Posted on 2009/01/03 by MorganYesterday I noticed that my dog Zeus, an american pitbull terrier was getting a lot of eye boogies. I simply wiped them up and wasn't too concerned about them. Today when we woke up, his eyes were crusted from the amount of boogies he had and there was a bright green glob working it's way out of his eye. Once I got that cleaned up, I haven't seen anything else come out yet, but it's only been like an hour. I was wondering if maybe it was conjunctivitis or if it was allergies maybe or what else it could possibly be. Does this merit a trip to the vet for a prescription to help clear it up or will it clear up on it's own?
