Alfee was hospitalized over the weekend for a high fever. He was given an IV and antibiotics. He came home on Monday and started to eat and drink. Today his right eye is closed shut and he is acting sleepy. Is this normal? His eye had white cold coming from it this morning. Please help.

Posted on 2008/10/29 by UserThere have been no changes in the house. There was a chair from my aunts but that was here weeks before this all started. There has always been one litter box. When the older one sees the younger one he starts hissing, growling and other odd noises. They are perfectly fine when they are apart. They are seperated now on different floors. Any suggesstions will be great heck I'd even give you my number for advice. haha pretty desperate..please help

Removal and treatment for cactus needles
Posted on 2008/10/30 by UserMy friend's cat tried to climb a cholla cactus this evening and was covered in needles. We removed as many as we could see but the cat is sore and limping. I advised him to seek medical attention right way but he is worried about the cost as he recently lost his job. Is there anything he can do for his cat at home or is professional treatment necessary?

is my cat getting cateracts? She has a 'sort of' membrane which starts at the outer corner of her eyes and covers about a third of the eye, she is perfectly happy and seems to be having no discomfort.
