my jack russel terrier who has just turned 10 (years) has developed a pink lump under the skin on his back leg, the lump feels like fluid and moves when touched, the dog cant walk on the leg, the lump is the size of a large coin. the lump was once small but today has become big, he seems to be in pain, is this lump dangerous?

we just found 4 ticks on our dog which we believe are female black legged deer ticks. We looked online to see which looked closest. should we take our dog in or wait till morning and call the vet. and should we be worried about lyme disease or anything like that?
