  • how long should it take for a newly adopted 4 year old dog to become adjusted to a new family and house trained? We are on a good consistent feeding and walking schedule but are having an accident almost daily. We have had the dog for 6 weeks, and otherwise, she's doing great. Thanks!

  • Kennel Cough or Allergies

Hi. We just had our 1 year old dog neutered exactly a week ago and as expected he came home from the vet sore and not himself. However after a couple days he was 100% back to his old self (i say that bcuz he is a jack russel mix and he usually gives 150% of energy everyday) but after coming back he has been coughing and not really wanting to play like he used to. He is laying down a lot and still not wanting to play with the dog next door. I figured he may have Kennel cough but also it could be allergies, because mine seem to bugging me lately. Could it be something else?

  • vomitting diarreha

I have a 13 week old boston terrier/beagle mix dog. For the last couple of days he has been vomitting and has had diarreha. He has moments of energy but usually laying around. There is no blood in vomit or stool. He won't eat and drinks very little water. What can I give him to keep him hydrated?

I took her to the vet and they prescribed some medicine so that she will not throw up but now she stopped eat and i got scared this morning when i saw blood in her stool is this because she will not eat. I have also been trying to feed her rice and chicken like the doctor told me. What should i do???

  • Lump Over Eye

My dog has a red bump over his eye

  • Cat keeps vomiting

Our cat has been vomiting alot lately and it has been mostly food. It has happens some but has gotten worse. also is it common for cats to chew on plants? Could this be a sign of heart worm?

  • Diagnosis

We just moved into a new place because when living with my in laws, their cats would attack our cat, so we had to keep him locked up. Since moving, he was a lot happier, at first, more social, and his injuries finally started healing up. He had had non cancerous lumps, which after being asperated just showed inflammed tissue. Now, however, he has started becoming reclusive, he's drooling excessively, and doesn't appear to be eating or drinking. Also he cries a lot, he only used to meow if you picked him up, now he wanders around crying when he comes out from hiding. We adopted him two playmates because he is a social cat normally, and he liked the kittens at first, now...

  • My indoor female cat 13yrs old has had what appears to be a lot of dark grime in her ears for about a year and constantly scratched them. Over the last few days, one of her ears has what feels and looks like a growing weightless bubble or blister on the inside of the flappy part. It's grown so much it's almost covering the entire opening of her ear. What could it be? Is there something I can do to stop it growing or maybe pop it? I can't easily afford a veterinarian. Thank you for any help... Denise

  • frequent drinking

My Shih Tzu is going to be 14. She is drinkin a lot of water. She is urinating a lot too. She cannot seem to hold her urine either since she is going all over my house. At present I have to carry her up any stairs in our house. I am very concerned about the drinking. I have an appointment tomorrow. I was just wondering if there is anything that you can tell me that I should know about ahead of time. Thank you in advance for your help.
