Posted on 2009/01/23 by UserThank you for your response. I have an follow up question as well..so if my pet had an accident on my carpet and I scrubbed it carpet cleaner, but didn't use bleach, should I try and sanitize it a different way? will the giardia live in the carpet?

My 17 year old Westie has been prescribed Rimadyl for his arthritis but since he has been on this drug he has become restless, has started weeing more and has collapsed twice. I decided to stop the Rimadyl after reading of the numerous adverse comments and he has been somewhat better. Is there anything safer than Rimadyl that I can give him. I would add that my Vet prescribed this drug without doing a blood test and from what I have read, Rimadyl should not be given if there is any form of kidney trouble.
