Thanks for your reply. She has about 3 to 4 days left on the meds. Between her mammary glands she has a 8-10 cm open wound that isn't healing. This wound happened when the black scab came off leaving it raw. The vet (probably an assistant) saw it and didn't say what to do. I was upset because she gave her such a poor prognosis when she is now full of energy. We have a cone on her head so she won't lick it but it's not getting air because the glands touch.

puppy with diarrhea and vomiting
Posted on 2009/01/24 by UserOur puppy received her second round of parvo/distemper on Weds. She has not eaten since and has had diarrhea. She is now vomiting today and is not active. Our kids have had a stomach virus this week which is lasting about 5 days. Could this be from the vaccine, stomach bug, or should we be concerned about parvo? Does she need to be seen? Please help

My Cat is Sick And I am EXTREMELY Worried!!!
Posted on 2009/01/24 by PrestonMy cat is very sick. He is an outside male cat. He has had diarrhea for a while but that was all. We thought it was just his diet so we changed it. Today when I went out to play with him he was having trouble moveing his back legs and was falling all over the place. He was Just fine yesterday. This has happened before. Most of our outside male cats will just suddenly get this to. They will suddenly get so worse that we are afraid to pick them up for fear of hurting them. Then they will nearly die. The within 24 hours of the worst of it they will be perfetly all right and will act like nothing happened. The sickness seems to only affect only our male outside...

New family dog is not having bowel movements
Posted on 2009/01/24 by UserMy family and I just aquired a new dog. She would have gone to the pound if we hadn't taken her in. She is a lovely four year old black chow. She seems to be adjusting to her new surroundings and is going from being an outdoor dog to an indoor dog. We have had her for almost five days now and she has yet to have a bowel movement. She isn't really eating well right now because she was raised on human food and we are tyring to get her to eat dog food. I was concerned about her not eating so I boiled her a hamburger pattie last night but still, almost five days and she just will not have a bowel movement. I'm very concerned. Is there anything I can do for her? Thank you so...
