My new puppy suddenly got diahrea late yesterday. I have an appointment with the vet tomorrow but he now has a watery bloody stool. He is straining every few minutes. He has all his parvo/corona/distemper shots. I've been feeding him today white rice and chicken and the vet told me to give him pepto. He's pooping all over the house. I'm really worried and don't want him to die. When I got him he had guardia parasites and I didn't take him to the vet but called her. She told me to give him no food for 24 hrs then chick. and rice. That did the trick and he got over them. Help He is so skinny and though he has finally started to gain weight, I'm afraid the diahrea will...

Posted on 2008/12/27 by UserUsing Advantage on my cat helps with flea control but distresses my cat for a day or two after application. He often runs back and forth throughout the day that I apply it. I’ve wondered if he is trying to run away from the smell, or if there is some chemical in Advantage that causes him to react in this speedy way. Have you heard from other cat owners about responses like this? Would one of the other flea control products cause milder side effects?

I have a pekingese that I adopted from a rescue shelter. He itches all the time and his hair comes out in clumps. We took him to the vet and she said he has skin allergies and she gave him medicine, which did not work. Now he has red scabs all over his stomach. Also, my other dog has started to itch. Do you know what this might be?

My dogs ate the leaves from a cooked artichoke after it had already been consumed so the heart was gone just the hard outer leaves. It was quite a bit he has been vomiting them up. He is a 19 lb carin terrier. He was vomiting every 20 minutes from about 11:00 pm till 5 am since then he vomited two more times he is resting now but he did play ball and he did go for a walk and he had 2 normal bowl movement.
