I am currently fostering condi, and was told by the shelter staff that she has kennel cough and is on antibiotics. Only, she isn't coughing, but occasionally has what sounds like choking fits (like when a dog eats or drinks too quickly). But, her nose is constantly filled with bright green mucus--does that sound like kennel cough to you? Appetite and exercise are unaffected.

Collapse/Fainting
Posted on 2008/02/03 by AlisaThis will be long, but any ideas of what this could be will help us so much!! Bubba is a very healthy dog, very active and a great weight (a little on the thin side even). He is a Pekingese (3years old) and has never had anything like this happen before. Here is what happened. I slept in Monday morning and woke up to diarrhea in the bathroom. It was a fair amount and some of it was very runny. Also, it seemed like Bubba may have struggled with it because it was in several places. I didn’t think much of it, however I did notice Bubba doing this weird thing. He kept sitting down a lot and was acting like it hurt him to do so. He would sit down very carefully...

Parvo Disinfecting
Posted on 2008/02/04 by LorettaSecond parvo-related question: What's my best option for disinfecting the small area of grass we were using to house train our puppy that died from parvo? It's been bleached the best we can in the middle of winter but is right outside our front door. Is there an age we can relax once our new puppy reaches it? We are waiting until the new pup reaches 11 weeks and has her third vaccination before bringing her home. Both are Shorkie mixes.

Posted on 2008/02/15 by UserMy fiances dog, a female beagle mix that is 11 months old, keeps chewing on tree limbs to the point that it is turning up in her stool and making her sick. Is there a possible reason she craves this or a good way to stop her from doing it? Any advise would be apreciated
