no weight gain
Posted on 2009/01/22 by sherryWe have 2-8mo old kittens whose mother was feral. She was hit by a car when they were only 3 weeks old. We took them in, fed them cat formula from a bottle until they could lap, did the cotton ball lick thing and had all their vet visits and shots. The male almost died, but the female was hearty. Now he weighs amost 13 pounds, but she only weighs 6.5lbs. She looks thin, but she has been playing and eating normally. 2 weeks ago she began rolling on the floor on her back alot, mewing loudly and looking thinner to me. What's up?? Is she okay or should I take her in?

My french bulldog
Posted on 2009/01/28 by UserI have a 15 month old french bulldog, he seems very breathless, tired and tummy slightly swollen. He recently had an eye ulser - and that is been treated at the Willows - eye specialists. He has been having pain killers and eye drops, but yesterday took him to vets who prescribed anti-biotics. My concern is that :- he's breathless, very tired and not pooed which is worrying as he is regular as clockwork. What can i do over and above giving him anti-biotics????? thanks

My new pet rat eye has been scratched out of eye socket
Posted on 2009/01/28 by UserHi, I just got 2 pet rats on Jan. 25, 09. One of the rats is missing his left eye from fighting with another rat at the pet store. The eye has this red discharge and he keep strying to clean it. Is there anything I can do for him til I am able to take him to a vet? Please let me know, I am very concerned for him! Thank you!

I have an 11 yr old pug. Recently falls down on the floor stretchs out and like screams with its feet straight out for about a minute and then gets up like nothing happened and continues on. Went to local vet and had blood test and urine test, x-rays, everything looks fine. More red blood cells then white. Eats, urinates and feces are fine. Is it just old age and having seizures??
