My dogs paw is bleeding
Posted on 2009/01/11 by UserMy dog came in from the backyard this morning and we noticed that she was bleeding from her back left paw. After looking closer we saw that one of her toe pads was split open. We have given her a bath and put a sock on her foot holding it in place with sports tape, but we cannot get it to stop bleeding. What do we need to do?

Posted on 2009/01/12 by ShariHello, My almost 8 year old kitty has been going through some serious health issues (she had surgery for chylo thoracic/pleural effusion almost 4 years ago, and has been on Rutin & Prednisone ever since). The brand of Rutin I had been giving her was discontinued, and when I switched brands, she suddenly got very ill (severe weight loss, vomitting, lethargic, etc.). I stopped the Rutin in search of a new, more compatible brand, but am still giving Prednison. Currently her one paw is about 3 times the size it should be, from either a blood draw/test or an IV cath. (she was severely dehydrated) I've been told. I recently noticed a bad odor coming from that paw,...
