he is shaking and yelping when we pick him up. if he is touched around the back, stomach area he also yelps. He has had hypoglycemia, around 4 months of age.

swollen cheek and runny eye
Posted on 2009/01/04 by UserMy cat slick was fine 2 days ago.Yesterday I noticed that he had a clear runny eye and he wasn't hungry.Today I wake up and his cheek is all puffy and his eye is almost swollen shut.There was also a small amount of blood in the corner of his eye.Yesterday and today I have been wiping his eye,gently,with a warm wet washcloth.Oh and he still isn't eating.I am taking him to the vet tomorrow,but it's really bugging me what could have happened to him in 2 days.He's also an indoor cat with other cats in the household,but none of them ever fight.I don't see any lacerations or puncher wounds anywhere,so I'm stumped.Maybe you could shed some light on this situation.

Pennys blood sugars have been ok and she made it through another night...eating and drinking well. this AM we will go to the vet to follow up with labs. and I also found the milk thistle in my research, i have doubts on home remidies from time to time however there was alot of infor avalible with the benefits of this herb and the liver. So, thank you for getting me through a difficult night.
