  10 year old male neutered cat. is usually independent and "opinionated", eats well, very vocal and mischevious. Is now crouching and slinking around, growling frequently and looks very uncomfortable. Last fecal I can attribute (have two cats)to him were small round balls. Constipated? Have not taken a temp/ has been urinating in unacceptable places

• Vaccinations

  How often should Oliver get a physical exam? He's healthy. He currently gets vaccinated every 6 months for Bordetella & annually for Parvo & Adeno/Lepto/Parainfluenza. Rabies every 3 years. Is that schedule too often? What is the best preventative for Heartworm, Fleas & Ticks? Is an all in one best? He currently takes Heartgard Plus monthly & nothing for Fleas & Ticks since he's never had any. He spends 90% in the house. & rarely gets boarded. Thank you

  our cat has been throwing up and has a clear liquid dripping from his nose and mouth has not been his self slugish moving slow for the last 4 hours

• Sick puppy

  My husband and I just adopted a dog. We have been told she is an Australian Shepard/ Jack Russell terrier mix. We brought her home yesterday. She is still very hyper, but I've noticed she has some crusting on her nose, when she breathes she blows bubbles with the snoot, she also wheezes when she breaths. What would be wrong? Should I take her to a vet?

• Not Able to Stand

  My pet is very weak and can not stand, please help! About 2 1/2 weeks ago he got into some expired food and vomited for 3 days, I gave him a 4 day dewormer and the vomiting stopped but had constipation and refused to eat. The vet gave him Metronizadazole 250Mg/day. I have been giving it for the past 2 days and there is no more constipation but having to force feed (no apetite) and tonight after coming home from a 30min. walk since 8pm he is not able to stand and laying on his side. Could this be caused by the medication? Is there anything over the counter I may be able to give him? I have to work and I am not able to take him to the vet 'till Friday, Please help!

• On going diarrhea problem

  hi,i have been to the vets with the same problem of colitis with my dog a border terrier.he normally gets a temperature sickness diarrhea.This seems to happen after when he goes to get stripped out.(his dead hair pulled out).after this last bout he does not seem to be recovering quickly and has started to get a shake or nervous twitch witch seems to be in the lower stomack as his belly and legs seem to be the worst for shacking.he had tablets synulox and salazopyrin. What action do you think i need to take to try and alleviate this problem please.

• Leg pain when getting up

  70lb Golden Ret. After sitting or laying for awhile when she stands she will not put any weight on a hind leg for about 15 minutes. then she will walk normal. After a nights sleep she puts weight on it the moment she gets up. Any ideas

• Odor in fur despite bathing

  Do you have any recommendations on the best deodorizing shampoo? Our Rottie stays inside and our house has that hated doggie smell. She only eats her dog food (no table scraps) and she is not overweight. I don't want to overbathe her- she gets a bath every Saturday, but after just a day or two, she stinks again. Any suggestions??
