Hi thanks for suggestions regarding Bremner. I would love to see a vetrinary surgeon for further tests. Unfortunately I am disabled and can not afford to see one. I go the PDSA vets, can they refer me to see one for free or can you suggest any thing else. Thank you Debbie

Pinkish Red Fluid
Posted on 2008/02/07 by TomeeThe last few days my 18 mo old male cat has been squatting in odd places as if he's going to use his litter box. The first time I noticed this I was concerned because he appeared to be having complications. I raised his tail and saw something light red in color coming out, then a few puffs of air, and then a pinkish red fluid squirted out. His appetite appears normal as well as his water intake. His playful & affectionat personality has not changed either... I have no clue what this could be nor if/how life threatening?

seizzures and medication
Posted on 2008/02/08 by Rosemarymax has seizures and fits, he is on medication and is suppose to eat before taking medication. Is it ok to give him milk to coat his stomach before taking the medication. The medication makes him vomit if he does not eat something first. I am also considering having him tested for lead. The medication is not working very well.

Peeing in Sleep
Posted on 2008/02/10 by UserWe adopted a dog back in August. The man that brought him to the shelter advised that the dog had been living in a crate covered in feces and urine, left without food or water after his owner passed away. Apparently both dog and owner were undiscovered in the house for some time. We aren't sure if that story is true, but one thing is certain, the dog was emaciated and his fur urine stained. Best guess, our boy is around three years old and he was intact upon adoption. We had him neutered in September, immediately after bringing him home. I anticipated that he may deviate from the "norm" and defficate when crated, given that he became so used to it. That...

nose peeling away
Posted on 2007/12/14 by BeckyA few months ago, Beau's nose started drying out on one side. It became worse until part of it actually sloughed off. We took him to the vet, she gave him anti-biotics. This seemed to help, but now the problem is back. She doesn't know what the problem is or how to deal with it. Can you advise?
