My cat has one eye that is watering and seems to be red around the rim. The eye itself looks fine. I can't afford to take him to a vet is there anything over the counter?

Dallas again
Posted on 2007/12/21 by lenetteIn just the last hour she has gotten markedly worse. She is in her bed but not sleeping. her eyes are open and she appears to be in discomfort, but unable to get up. I lifted her chin and tried to look at her gums, and when i let go of her head she just kept it tilted back and made meowing sounds until i pushed her head back down. It was awful to see. I've had cats all my life and i've never seen anything like this. I forgot to say that she has not had a fever at any time. Lenette

growth plate fracture
Posted on 2008/02/03 by RobinHow long should it take a minor growth plate fracture(back left rear) to heal?? Our vet has prescribed 4 1/2 weeks on "crate" rest, and no casting. She is 3 1/2 weeks into it, with great results so far.. Although today she darted out of her crate and jumped on the hurt leg, held it up for a minute or two (no crying) then seemed fine... Do you think she may have re-injured it, or that it is just sore? (she has been walking to go potty and that's it!) Should we re xray? Also, does not casting it, and the time frame they have given us seem reasonable?

We just recieved this 5 year old dog from a friend. He had to give up Magic, because Magic was attacking a new male dog. Magic got the raw end of the stick or tale as the case may be. Magic's was injured from the previous mentioned dog, the tail and multiple area on the face and snout. We got the dog yesterday and he has bit my husband three times. Each time it did appear that my husband was doing something that could hurt those injuries. ie. today my husband was putting medicine on Magic's tail and Magic bit him. I know that it was proably due to the probable pain, but I have a two year old little boy that I am very worried about. I already have decdied that my...
