Bloody Urine
Posted on 2008/05/18 by UserI have a 1 year old male Welsh Corgi and every now and then he has bloody urine. He doesn't seem to be in any pain, infact he was just outside chasing geese. Is this normal? Should I be worried?

we recently bought a beagle and hes about 3 months old. we regularly get him his shots every 2 or 3 weeks and hes had i think his 3rd parvo shots already. recently we have been smelling this very strong smell. it kind of smells like a metal/bloody/chemical smell coming out of him. he has a lot of energy still and eats very well. he was throwing up a lot a few weeks ago but not anymore. any ideas if this could be parvo?

red flaky skin
Posted on 2008/05/18 by MeganMy 1 year old Westie has areas on her sides, hips and thighs where she has lost her hair and the skin is red and flaky. They don't seem to bother her too much, but they are defiantly hotter that the rest of her body. We have changed everything from her food and bedding, and no change. We are thinking its hot spots but the vet seems reluctant to give us any diagnosis. Can you help?
