Sunny has been throwing up on just about a daily basis. Took her to vet. Thought pancreatitis. Blood work normal though. Said lipid levels high and to put on low fat diet. Said if she throws up more he will do an x-ray. She feels good and is active. Eats and drinks normally. Poop is good. Throw up is brownish and liquidy. Do you have any ideas of what it might be?

WHAT HAPPENED
Posted on 2008/07/10 by Chazit was hot today and my dog was wrestling with another.shortly afterward he seemed like he couldnt find his balance, started drooling (he never drools) staggered back and forth for a bit, i picked him up and he was still trying to walk in place for a bit, walked in circles, knocked over his water bowl while walking slowly, slightly sideways, and seemed to be somewhere else. i thought he was seriously dying, but shortly thereafter, he started playing and running around normal. i found him on the highway about 6 months ago, and noone knows what breed he is, but is apparently about 12 or 13 years old.

Cat is lethargic, won't eat and has cold paws
Posted on 2008/07/14 by UserLast week, my cat had trouble jumping up onto the bed. the next day, she kept wetting her lips like she was going to vomit, which she hasn't yet, then she became lethargic, didn't want to move much, just layed around, she refuses to eat, and yesterday did not eat at all. she has this strange gaze in her eyes, and her paws are cold. She did, however, pee in the box twice yesterday, and once this morning. no bowel movements that i see. any suggestions?

Hello, My dog has had a runny nose is drooling, won't eat and has lost alot of weight. He is a german shep/border collie mix and is 7 years old. He was 55 pounds and looks like he lost 20 of it. When I take him for a walk he urinates and just sits there. He does not want to move.

Dog with leg cramps
Posted on 2008/04/06 by kristalive had muttley to the vet twice in a week he seems to be pulling up his left leg and running around the house and coming to me to have it rubbed, but his whole body becomes so tense and within 60 seconds it is gone and he is off playing, ran full blood work, no lyme, no heartworm potassium was a little low so i was told to add some banana to his diet and said his ck or cpk was high which indicates muscle sprain or injury. can a dog getting a leg cramp be this scary that you think something else is going on? my vet is the best but this is just scaring the hell out of me, he has been put on rest for the next two weeks and if it continues then we need radiographs, maybe...

Dog constipated?
Posted on 2008/04/08 by NancyBuddy was fine yesterday and today, not so good. I thought maybe his anal glands had been bothering him so expressed them and yes, they were bad, but he doesn't want to walk, cries in pain when he gets up on his back legs, then can walk but slowly. Could the anal glands have been infected or could this be something else, perhaps a kidney infection, or constipation? Legs seem ok, no swelling. Won't eat or drink and I haven't seen him urinate or poop today.
