Hi, my cat seems to be working on a hairball. She has been retching a bit since Sunday and has not yet been able to cough it up. She seems to be breathing kind of rapidly, but just ate and went to the bathroom. Is it time to take her to the vet? Or should I give her more time to work this out on her own?

Both cats are losing fur on rear thighs and legs (its almost gone!). Last month we changed cat litter, it's the only change I've made since we adopted them as kittens. Samantha is worse than Sheeba. I've just noticed it, but considering the loss it looks like it may have been going on for about a week. I've notice more licking and grooming in those areas. Please help...I can't afford to take them to the vet right now....my husband has taken a cut in pay and we're still trying to adjust. Thank you so much.

Crate Training Issues

We've been crate training her when we leave for the day, but latly she's been struggleing with it. She keeps having accedents even if she's not in there for very long. We always let her go potty before we put her in there, but it doesn't seam to matter. Also, she seems to have speration anxity. I don't know how else to ask for advise.

Posted on 2008/02/19 by pei shihi listen to you and bring my ozbek to the vet ..they said he has diabetes mellitus type 1.. but the problem is they said they can put the fluid on him because he nervous...his body is so tight... so they ask me to go to 24hr care.. or come back tomorrow so that they could watch on him please help me ... Wht can i do if i bring him back home & send him back tomorrow again anything temporarily i could help him to lower his sugar level .. may be put something on the water...

Eye discharge and throw up

I gave Hydro Bovine Rhinotrachetie-parafluenza vaccine through his nostrils this am. He had a slight cas of the runs prior to this. I started him on pepto bismol yesterday. He now has the squirts. Can you give any insight or help? he wont take his bottle now.

Bumps on back
Posted on 2008/03/27 by erinI have taken loki to the vet many times for bumps he has had. at first it started with acne on his chin and that came and went a few times he get a bump or two every now and then but recently he has been getting bumps along his spine from his neck to his tail. he has been an antibiotcs and prednisone twice. they go away and come back. we went out of town this weekend and he stayed at my mom while we were gone and when we got his home i noticed they had come back and i was wondering could this be some kind of anxiety.The bumps are small zit looking bumps and sometimes they even look like an ingrown hair. I have been taking his to a dermatologist and its just not fixing...
