My 5 year old (today) Silkie Terrie has been vomiting a lot lately. I took her to the animal hospital. They kept her overnight and hydrated her. $800 later, they said her stomach wasn't twisted, but she did have some air/gas in her tummy. She's eating only small amounts of dry food for sensative stomachs. After she throws up foor, she continues to vomit this clear, foamy stuff. Help, please!

Dental problem
Posted on 2008/01/25 by KarenWell I admit i haven't really payed much attention to his teeth until i start noticing recently i saw that there is some (now black colored, used to be brownish) residue on the side on his bottom lip. i looked in his mouth, but there is nothing. i keep thinking it might be his hairball remedy gel that maybe, he got some on the side of his lip and it just dried up and things. but it has a slight odor to it, but it outside his mouth. i am going to take him to the vet this week, but i just want to hear some other answers to see what it might be. can you help me?

snake skin
Posted on 2008/01/25 by UserI have a four foot long african rock python. I got her about to weeks ago from one of our pet store we distibute to (i am a hamster breeder). She was returned to the store as a very aggresive animal (which she is) and with "some" minor wounds. Yeah right it looks like a dog got ahold of her. sShe is healing fine from that injury but, today when i was cleaning her cage i noticed that she was missing some skin meaning the skin has been removed to the fatty area but not to the muscle. I also noticed that while handling her her skin is very sensitve and breaks easy. is this someing i should be extemely concernd about or just cautios about?

eye problems
Posted on 2008/01/31 by JudiI have a 4 year old Golden Retriever. He has no health problems. He recently developed an eye condition. His eyes - both of them - got sunken in and rolled up. His eye pressures are very low in both eyes. His third eyelid is up. He can bring his eye balls down for short periods of time, but seems like this takes a lot of effort. Has anyone ever seen or heard of anything like this???? The Vet is unsure what is going on. He is on steroid eye drops and pills. If anyone knows anything, please help me!

Mandy started having a white/bloody discharge from vulva two weeks ago. Had seen this once before several months ago and then seemed to stop. Took her to vet and they put her on Clavamox which didnt stop it so they tried one more week. She has been spayed but vet wants to do abdominal exray and surgery to see what is wrong. She is almost fifteen I dont know if she would do well during surgery and we live paycheck to paycheck. Is there ANYTHING else that may cause this problem. They are telling me to just keep her comfortable and she is going to die because I can't afford to do a surgery. She is by the way, not acting sick at all, no fever, eating well, runs around...
