On 12-16-07 and 12-17-07 Abby started running from place to place to lie down for 2-10 minutes and then repeats. She seems to have a muscle quiver/spasm on left shoulder. I did put Seargent's tick,flea medicine on her on 12-15 and she did try to jump in a truck and fell off a few days ago, but she was fine till 5p.m. on 12-16.

He eat something bad and he has diarrhea in the last 2 days, otherwise he`s fine. I would like to know what kind of medicine he can take to stop it and what dose? I heard about Pepto-bismol works good. Thanks

Odd sexual behavior in my cat
Posted on 2007/12/27 by kristinMy 14yr old neutered male cat has been, on more than one occasion, caught ahhhh....trying to "do" his housemate. The thing is his house mate is Purranha who is 5 and they have both been neutered since they were kittens. I managed to get a picture but i don't think i need to explain what could be considered kitty porn. (groan, sry for the bad joke). Omelet's regular vet has noticed a heart murmur and an enlarged thyroid in him, but she says that is not unusual in a cat of his age. He also has anxiety issues if I am away for more than several days. (I prefer to have my guys at home with a cat sitter, usually my roommate, whom he knows well rather than boarding...

Flea product used but still scratching!

vomiting and weight loss
Posted on 2008/01/27 by UserWe are having difficulty in getting a correct diagnosis for my 13-year old Ragdoll Cat. Sassy has a history of Kidney issues since a kitten. Therefore we are constantly testing her levels. On presciption canned and dry for IBD. Recently started having vomiting issues again. Has lost weight. In December started periordically vomiting liquid with signs of blood. Had complete blood work done, urinalysis and x-ray. Kidney levels had risen but still okay. Rest of blood work and tests fine. X-ray showed one kidney larger than the other, which has been her history. Tried sulcrafate with pepcid. Two doses and she has sudden onset of diarrhea and lost her appetite. Stopped meds....

Posted on 2008/01/27 by UserWe found a cat outside, and we're not sure if it was an indoor cat and an outdoor cat...it has on a collar, but not a name tag...how can you tell if it's an outdoor cat? It paws at the window and the door and it's friendly towards us...we're not sure what to do.

introducing a new kitten
Posted on 2008/01/28 by SueAbout three months ago, I introduced a new kitten into my household of two five-year-old cats. The male accepted the kitten immediately, but the female is very stressed out. She spends her time on the kitchen table, where we have placed her food, water, cat bed, padded box, and some toys. She sneaks downstairs to the litter box when the kitten is out of sight. I have placed him on the table, and although she occasionally seems to just ignore him most of the time she hisses, growls, and swats. He will be able to reach the table soon, which will take away her place of refuge. He has demonstrated no aggression towards her as yet. He is also due to be neutered in two months....
