limping/favoring leg
Posted on 2008/03/05 by ElaineLate this morning we noticed that Tera was favoring her right hind leg. She had been in the backyard with our other dog, and we noticed it when she came in.I checked her paw pads for cuts, stickers, etc...didnt see anything. She now walks on just three legs and has the "hurt" leg hiked up in the air. Should I wait another day and see if it gets better, or should I take her to her vet to get it checked? Thank you!

bloody stool
Posted on 2008/03/08 by DavidLast night when I arrived home I found that my dog had relieved herself in the kitchen. First time ever. I also noticed that she was very lathargic and not interested in eating. After some coaxing I finally got her outside, where she had bloody stools. This morning I noticed her eyes were yellow, she had a hard time with the stairs, and more bloody stools. What would cause this so suddenly?

GSD with lumps in throat
Posted on 2008/04/21 by MarshaI lost a German Shepherd to cancer last year. All her lymph nodes swelled and that's how we found the cancer. Now, I have another shepherd. Yesterday, I noticed 2 lumps in her throat...one on each side of her swallowing tube. She breaths heavy most of the time. (snoring while she's awake), though the vet never gets to hear it. Could this be the same thing our other one had?
