Hi there, I just noticed a few days when bathing my 7 month old puppy that he had a spot on his back (closer to his shoulder blades) that was scabbed over and very red. This morning I checked it and it looked to be bleeding again. I know he isn't bothering the spot becuase it's out of the reach of his mouth and paws. Any idea what it could be? He loved to chase bees in the backyard...could he have possibly been stung?

Bleeding spot on back...

Hi, Egor is 16 yrs old, and now having seizures? He gets all contorted & stiff for about 30 seconds. Then when he is done, he is totally fine! I thought if you have a seizure you are out of it for at least a little while. He just had a full blood panel done. The vet said to come back in 2 weeks to test for leukemia again, because he had a weak pos.. So I did, and he was cleared. Now I don't know what to do. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! sick kitten
Posted on 2008/02/07 by MarciaPrecious doesn't seem to be feeling well and I'm thinking she may just be constipated. Last night she cried a lot, which is very unusual for her, she is not really vocal at all. She ate her usual amount of wet food this morning, but I'm not home during the day to see if she is drinking water. She is walking funny with her butt up in the air, almost crouching on her front paws and keeping her hind end up. She did urinate and have a BM during the day, but the stool was very small, hard and almost round. Usually her stool is long and skinny. I'm thinking she just may be constipated, but I'm not sure if I should be looking for anything else, and what to do for her. ...

worried about old dog
Posted on 2008/02/18 by UserHi, I have an 11 year old choc. lab. In the past 2 weeks he hasn't been eating well. Yesterday he went to get up and it seemed like one side of his body was limp and he fell and couldn't get up. I thought he hurt his paw. He layed for hours with his heart racing and moaning a couple of times. Our family held vigil thinking it was only a matter of time before he passed. He didn't seem well at all. After a 3-4 hours he was able to move a little and even ate. Today he seems fine. We think maybe he had a mild stroke. What do you think? Kelle

Cat's Eyes
Posted on 2008/02/25 by catI have a kitten who has had watery eyes the past few days. Now there is some goopy stuff that I am having to wipe away. His eyes look real irritated and a little puffy. Any suggestions as to what it may be and what we can do for him?
