My 5yr. English Springer Spaniel unneutered male won't stop licking and barking at my 5yr. spayed female English Springer Spaniel. She was spayed as a pup. How can I prevent this from going on? It's the first time in 5 years.

Posted on 2009/06/21 by UserMy dog drank half a cup of coffee and now he is vomiting an orange vile. I just paid 200 dollars for his ear infection and now I have no money until my next paycheck to take him to the vet. What other alternatives do I have? What should I do?

dog's and benedryl
Posted on 2009/06/22 by UserMy dog has been nibbling but mostly licking her rear paw. It visibly does not look to be cut, infected or swollen but it is sensitive to her and seems a bit pink. I've been advised from a friend whose dog did the smae thing last year that their vet said give her a benedryl. Can that helpand what dosage would be appropriate? Thank you.

we just bought a 10 wk old male maltese lhasa apso cross and vet told us he has fleas. he gave him a capstar which worked amazingly fast b/c we can see fleas coming out and then also put on revolution med. it's been 2 days since our puppy had the revolution medication but he's still scratching a bit, is that normal?

Is it Depression or Anger
Posted on 2009/07/02 by UserMy dog Zee is 5yrs old. He and my son were inseperable, until recently. My son has been some what busy getting ready for his high school senior year. Begining March of 2009 my son has been going on College Jr. days for football and currently he is hardly home due to football recruiting camps he been attending. My mother has noticed that Zee no longer acknowledge my son, like he use to . Zee dosen't want him to take him for walks, chase after the freesbie, or even sleep at the foot of his bed anymore. My mother seem to think that Zee is depressed and angry because my son hasn't been spending much time with him. I am finding that hard to believe. Now what Zee, wants me to...

Dog floppy ear.
Posted on 2009/07/03 by AMy son and 20 month old male border collie, were playing rough as they do some times! My son play bit the border collie on his ear (as he has done before) but this was a little harder, the dog yelped, but still wanted to play? In the morning we noticed his ear is now floppy? But does not prick up all the time as before? It only pricks up when he is 'really' excited. What can i do, his ear is very warm to the touch, he is no pain when i touch the ear??? I am worried it will not prick up as before. No more rough play until this sorted.

Aggressive behavior
Posted on 2009/07/03 by ReneeI have 2 Datsons, one is as loving as he can be, and the other one has an aggresstive behavior. I have had the aggresstive one since he was about 2 or 3 months old, and he was like that when I got him. For about the first 6 months or so my son and my husband aggravated him until he bit my son a few times. Now he is almost 2 years old, and is still aggresstive. One minute you are petting him and the next minute he will turn and bite you. How can I get him out of that?
