My small cockapoo got a hold of the end piece of a t-bone steak bone my Lab left behind. He ate the whole thing. Will he be able to pass the bone safely. I am very worried...Thanks

  • Why has my cat decided not to urinate in the litter box? He has done this on my couch and this morning on my clothes I had on my hamper. I don't know what to do about it. Any advice?

  • Behavior

My dog has behavior problems with other dogs, its only when he is on leash though! He is just getting used to being with other dogs, and if the other dog runs around while Max is getting used to him he growls!!!! Is that just playful? And why is he so poorly behaved on leash?

  • Sun stroke

My dog was out in the sun yesterday for only about 10 minutes, she suddenly staggered and fell down. She wasn't unconscious and got up and came inside (to the air conditioning) and cooled off (we gave her water and ice). Awhile later, she seemed to be normal. Was this a sunstroke? Also, should she see a vet? She does seem quite normal now.

  • Anxiety Problem?

Hi, My Old English Sheepdog, Emily, who is 6 years old has recently started hiding in the bathroom or walk in closet and sleeping in there instead of lying on my bed like normal whilst I am in the bedroom. She won't go outside in the fresh air whilst the kitchen doors are open and instead lays inside whilst we are all outside. (It isn't very hot outside either.) The other strange thing she is doing is: she sits on a chair we have by the window normally next to where I work but recently she has been trying to move the blinds out of the way and get really close to the window.... she even stood completely on the window sill earlier today and got tangled up in the...

  • My rats

I have 2 female rats that will be a year old in February. They are the first rats i have owned so i am still learning about them. One of them started sneezing a few months ago and does it often now but her appearance or behavior hasn't changed a bit. My other rat makes a funny noise every so often when she breaths that is hard to describe but also acts normally and doesn't appear to be sick. Is this something i should worry about? I don't have much money to pay for vet bills but will if necessary because i have become quite a rat lover. Thank you- Josh

  • Aggressive Play Behavior

I have a four year old 20 pound besenji mix (Allie) and last week we adopted a 1 1/2 year old unneutered 40 pound pit bull (Hugo). Allie is an even tempered kind dog who gets along well with all of the dogs I have ever seen her play with. She is very easy going, and usually doesn't let anything bother her. Hugo is also a sweet boy. He is very kind and gentle with people. He listens well and is usually well behaved. Hugo and Allie however have been having difficulty getting along. It seems that Hugo plays a little rough for Allie. He charges at her when he plays, and sometimes he bites her too hard and she cries out. One day he bit her so hard under her jaw that...
