  • I've noticed skin colored mole looking bumps on my 8 yr old dog. What is it and should I be concerned?

  • parakeet night fighting

I have 2 parakeets, 1 male and 1 female for 3 years. They get along really well except when I cover the cage at night. They nip and chase each other for 15 to 30 minutes. I'm afraid one of them will get hurt. I understand there needs to be a pecking order but this seems a bit much. Why do they do this and what can I do about it?

  • anal sacs and dog ears related?

I took my dog Peanut (Morkie -Maltese/Yorky mix) into the vet because she was scratching her right ear and yelping as it hurt her two days ago. They looked in her ears after examining her body first I.e. heart, eyes etc. She said "I don't see anything" and than asked about other things i.e. butte scoot and I was like "yeah" she always scoots before going number 2 - she's been doing that for months and months now - (she's almost a year old) I did not know what that meant, figured she was getting ready to do her business. So they said "that is it"...the ears and anal are somehow connected. So they drain her and I take her home, yesterday...

I just bought a 5 month old border collie mix yesterday. She has been acting very scared. She has not eaten yet. She threw up last night. (It was food she had eaten before we took her home.) And she just thew up some water. Is there anything wrong with her? When should I worry? What can I do to get her to eat and make her feel more at ease?

  • Potty training an adult dog?

We just got a 1 1/2 yr old show Westie from a breeder. He was potty trained at his old house, but here he almost never goes outside. Do I go about potty training an adult dog the same way as a puppy, or would you do it differently with an adult dog? Also, he is about 4 lbs underweight. How can I put weight on him healthily?
